Wanza Jones

Mrs. Wanza Glenn Myers Jones, age 103, of Thomaston, died Sunday, April 14, 2019, at the Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston.

Mrs. Jones was born on August 3, 1915 in Greeneville Tn, to the late George Washington Myers and the late Mary Etta Dulaney Myers. She was a homemaker and seamstress. Mrs. Jones was a member of Smiths Grove United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Doyle Jones, son in law Jack Crabtree, daughter Brenda Esto, son Lynn Garner Jones, daughter in law Emily Frances Jones.

Survivors include her daughters Mrs. Lynville Crabtree of Sweetwater Tn, Dr. Sharron Jones of Thomaston Ga, son Mr. Anthony G. (Carol) Jones of Plano Tx, grandchildren Randy (Mary) Crabtree of Sweetwater Tn, David Crabtree Sweetwater Tn, Robin (Michael) Smith of Bowling Green, Ky, Brian (Jennifer) Jones of Hendersonville Tn, Kimberly (Mitchell) Hill, Greg Esto of N.C, Jonathan (Chasidy) Vincent of Hopkinsville, Ky, Lara (Marty) Smith of Thomaston Ga, Amy (Chris) Sutton of Prosper Tx, Corbin Jones of Lawrence Ks, Rebecca (Ian) McCarthy of Aubrey Tx, great grandchildren Jennifer (Daniel) Whitson of Sweetwater Tn, Emily (Ronnie) Martin of Bowling Green Ky, Ryan (Olivia) Howard of Nashville Tn, Michael Hilton, Brandon Hilton, Christopher Hilton, Amber Hilton, Macy Jones of Hendersonville, Tn, Molly Jones of Hendersonville Tn, Allison Sutton of Prosper Tx, Adelynne Sutton of Prosper Tx, Aniston Sutton of Prosper Tx, Hannah Wolfe of Hopkinsville, Ky, Benjamin Wolfe of Hopkinsville, Ky, Luke Smith of Thomaston Ga, great great grandchild Garner Martin of Bowling Green Ky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Greeneville Tn.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00p.m. at the funeral home.
