Wendell Dewayne Selvidge

Wendell Dewayne Selvidge, 60 of Horse Cave died peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

The Jellico, Tennessee native was a son of the late Wendell B. Selvidge and Velmea Sue Yancey Dennison who survives.  He was a construction worker and an under- water welder.  Wendell was an avid fan for the Kentucky Wildcats, he loved fishing, hunting and scuba diving.  His son Dalton was the largest blessing in his life.

Leaving to cherish his memory is his son, Dalton Selvidge (Sophia); his mother Sue Dennison (Gerry); two sisters, Sherry Selvidge and Jennifer Martinez(Leo); four brothers, Mitch Selvidge (Sheri), Mike Selvidge, Wesley Selvidge (Cheryl) and Joey Dennison; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
