Walter M Horne

Walter M. Horne, 66 of Bowling Green passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

The Warren County native was the son of the late Walter L. and Elizabeth Butler Horne. He was a member of Glendale Baptist Church. 

His survivors include his sister, Gail Short; his nephew and caregiver, Jeff Horne (Bailey Loggins) two nieces: Sophia Horne and Alicia Horne, along with several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Smiths Grove Cemetery. 

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
