Thelma Earline Brooks

Thelma E. Brooks, 84, of Bowling Green died Sunday, December 1, 2024 at her residence.

The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late Allen and Aileen Graham Norris. She was the wife of the late Arvil Brooks. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael A. Brooks, her daughter Linda E. Brooks; two sisters, Brenda Joyce Norris and Kathy Norris. Thelma was a debt collector for IMC Credit and of the Missionary Baptist Faith. 

Her survivors include two brothers, Ronnie Norris and Johnnie Norris (Amelia); two sisters, Alma Herald and Peggy Tarry; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Hawks Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12 noon on Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thelma’s request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society.
