Rondell K. Elkins, 80 of Smiths Grove died Wed. Aug. 9, 2017 at his residence.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Paul and Hazel Kemble Elkins, husband of the late Melva Joyce Sledge Elkins and preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Baird. Rondell was a farmer, a member and deacon of Oak Forest Baptist Church and a member of the Gideon's. He was an inspiration to all who knew him.
His survivors include his daughter, Karen Coulter (Jeff); three sons, Steve Elkins (Maria), Timmy Elkins (Melinda), David Elkins (Audra); 15 grandchildren, Brian Elkins (Candace), Chris Elkins (Alice), Todd Elkins (Katie), Chad Elkins (Miranda), Bradley Elkins (Amy), Miranda Harriman (Shawn), Brandon Coulter (Jessica), Brent Coulter (Sherra), Sara Coulter, Drew Elkins (Kristan), Luke Elkins (Jill), MacKenzie Elkins, Katan, Adrianna, Alex; 23 great grandchildren. one sister, Marilyn Gaines (Jerry), two brothers-in-law, Willis Baird and David Sledge (Johnnie), several nieces and nephews.
