Martha Ann Hunt

Martha Ann Hunt, 89, went home to be with the Lord on December 8th, 2023, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

 Martha was born November 7th, 1934 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to loving parents William (Bill) and Edna Lucille Stone. Martha was a lifetime resident of Warren County, Kentucky, attending Bowling Green High School and marrying her beloved husband, “Tommy” in 1952. Together, they welcomed their daughter, Belinda, in 1953 and have since enjoyed bonding with their growing family, including two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Martha enjoyed being out on the farm with her husband, attending walking-horse shows, and taking care of her many dogs and cats whom she held very dear to her heart. She was a devout Christian and proud member of Martinsville Missionary Baptist Church. She also served as vice-president of Bowling Green Bank and Trust for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband and life-partner, Thomas E. Hunt; father, William (Bill) Stone; and her mother, Edna Lucille Stone.

 Her survivors include her daughter, Belinda Gaye Watt (Floyd); grandchildren, Melissa Ann Greathouse (Joel) and Timmy Watt (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Preston Willis (Cierra), Thomas Watt (Megan), Leah Watt-Glasscock (Seth), Isabelle Greathouse, and Ava Grace Watt; great-great-grandchild, Bennett Watt; caretakers and special friends, Mary Lewis, Mary Fishback, Lida Flynn, Ivory Meeks, Jean Smith, and many others.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 12 th at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel at 10 AM with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery #2. Visitation will be held Monday, December 11th from 4-8 PM. At the funeral home.
