Martha Dean Davenport

Martha  Dean Reeks Davenport, 77 of Bowling Green entered into eternal life on  March 20, 2024 at the Hospice House.

The Daviess County native was a daughter of the late James Tyler Reeks and Elizabeth Conrad Reeks.   She was the wife of the late Frederick Paul Davenport and is preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Crowe.  Her passion was her family.

Her survivors include her son, James “Jim” Frederick (Jessica) Davenport; and her daughter, Martha Jayne Davenport; four grandchildren, Alexandria Storm Davenport (Myco), Summer Agnes Rose Booher (Bryce), Samantha Michelle Davenport and Sydney James Davenport; two great grandchildren, Melody Iriel Booher and Milo Frederic Tyler Booher.  

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.   Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro.
