Margie Cary Duvall

July 12, 1940 — February 3, 2024

Smiths Grove, Kentucky

Margie Duvall, 83, of Smiths Grove died peacefully after a brief illness on February 3, 2024 at the Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. 

Margie was a Warren County native and the daughter of the late Irvin Cary and Ruth Massey Cary, also preceded by her sister, Barbara Cary Wilson.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Dan M.Duvall. She was a graduate of Bristow High School and a retiree of the United States Federal Court as Deputy Clerk and a longtime member of Oakland Baptist Church serving as Church Secretary for over 50 years.  

Leaving to cherish her memory is her children, Steven Duvall, Scott Duvall and Sandra Cooke (Jimmy); grandchildren, Daniel Cooke (Shannon), Marissa Cooke and Matthew Cooke; great grandchildren, Maci Rae Cooke and Parker Cooke; one brother Ronnie Cary (Grace). 

Funeral service for Margie will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. 

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Oakland Baptist Church or Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
