Lyle Glenn Lingar, age 66, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family and devoted wife of 46 years, JoAnn Lingar in Bowling Green, Kentucky on May 6th, 2023 following a courageous fight with Cholangiocarcinoma. He was preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Lee Roy Lingar; siblings Emmit, Stanley, Helen Thornsberry and Eddie Lingar. Lyle leaves behind his five children, Chris (Kim) Lingar, Krystle Lingar, Leslie (Lucian) Hudson, Dana (Justin) Crawford, and Patrick Lingar. He was also a proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Ethan (Hope) Burden, Haley Beliles, Jesse Hudson, Autumn Burden, Brandon Hudson, Madeline Crawford, Addison Crawford, and Dylan Lingar, and one great-grandchild, Olivia Burden. Lyle was also survived by siblings, Jeff (Diane) Lingar and Debbie (Gerald) Hardcastle.
Lyle was Master barber in Bowling Green, Kentucky, working at the Hair Den since 1997. He was a devoted Christ-follower and attended the Faith Assembly of God in Smiths Grove, Kentucky.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Faith Assembly of God in Smiths Grove with burial at Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday 11 a.m.-1p.m. at the church. Hardy & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with Lyle's arrangements.
