Lucille Key Hittson

Lucille Key Hittson, 94 of Bowling Green, passed away at her residence on August 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fred Hittson, Sr., and her parents, Leonard Key and Mae Gregory Key. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Linda Baxter, two sons-in-law, Tommy Baxter and Gary Kitchens and a sister and brother-in-law, Geneva Owens & Bill.

Lucille was born in Rockfield and was a member of North Bowling Green Church of God. She spent many years working at Union Underwear as an inspector.

Leaving to carry on her legacy is one son, William Fred Hittson, Jr. (Judy); two daughters, Sharon Kitchens and Judy Brooks (Wendell). She was very proud of her 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Lucille’s funeral service will be held on Friday at 12 noon at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Friends and family can pay their respects on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.-12 noon at the funeral home. The burial will be in Fairview Cemetery # 2.
