Louise Franklin Jones

Mary Louise Jones, 94 of Bowling Green passed peacefully at her daughter’s residence on Friday, February 23, 2024 surrounded by her family. 

Louise was born on October 29, 1929 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Rudolph Franklin and Mary Iva Wimpee Franklin.  She was the loving wife of 75 years to  the late Mac Jones.  Also preceded in death by a son, Johnnie Jones; grandson, Joey Jones; granddaughter, Shannon Jones Stafford; three sisters, Lucille Green, Joyce Faye Massey, Barbara Ann Johnson. She was employed at Fruit of the Loom where she retired and a life-time homemaker.  Louise was a member of Penns Chapel Church of Christ. 

Surviving to cherish her memory are her three loving children, Randall Jones (Linda), Donnie Jones (Stacey) and Denise Jones Johnson (Marty); one daughter-in-law, Teresa Jones.  Six grandchildren, Samantha, Zach, Chris, Jennifer, Heidi, Dylan; nine great grandchildren, Dallas, Lulu, Evie, Everly, Blake, Jared, Jacey, Kendall and Kylie; two great great grandchildren, Kingston and Gia; several nieces and nephews and a special friend that was considered a sister, Mary Keeling of Indianapolis, Indiana. 

The funeral service for Louise will be Saturday, March 2 at 2 p.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial at Penns Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
