Jeanette Ester Kays, 92 of Bowling Green passed peacefully, Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Medical Center.
The Lebanon, Kentucky native was a daughter of the late Donzie and Ruby Shipp Wilcher. She was the wife of the late William “Bill” Kays. Jeanette was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Napier; four brothers, Lawrence, Carl, Tommy and Mitchell Wilcher and four sisters, Ruth Ann Buckman, Myrtle Buckman, Rita Wise and Bonnie Johnson. She was a factory worker and farmer and attended the Gospel Kingdom Tabernacle.
Her survivors are her daughter, Marilyn Napier; two sons, Michael Napier (Barbara) and Kenneth Napier (Lisa); seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Donzie Wilcher, Jr., Randall Wilcher; James Wilcher; three sisters, Helen Newcome, Virgie Moore and Louise Wright; many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held at Gospel Kingdom Church in Elizabethtown on Thursday, at 1 p.m EST with burial at Gospel Kingdom Memorial Cemetery in Shepherdsville. Visitation is Wednesday 3-7 p.m. CST at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. There will be a brief visitation at the church on Thursday from 12-1 p.m. EST
