Jean Carol Moore

Jean Carol Moore, 88, of Bowling Green, passed quietly on Tuesday, at The Hopkins Center. Jean was the daughter of her proud parents, James Robert Merritt and Lela Mae Quain Merritt who preceded her in reaching their heavenly home. 

Jean worked as a Nurse’s Aide at United Helpers in Canton, NY, before she retired. She spent many years caring for her patients. She leaves behind two daughters: Georgette Scripter and Candi Mouck; two sons: Dennis Shampine & Thomas Moore; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister: Doris Barone; several nieces and nephews and her life partner: Bob Deberry. 

The Staff of Hardy & Son is honored to be asked to handle the arrangements for Jean’s cremation.
