Hubbard A. Williams, 85, of Oakland, Kentucky died Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at his residence.
The Richmond, Virginia native was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson Williams and Leslie “Nonnie” Viar Williams. Hubbard served in the Coast Guard and was a Ranger in the 80th Airbourne of the U S Army where he served two tours in Vietnam. He received the Purple Heart after being wounded in the last tour. He was a Union Iron Worker and a member of the Boiler Makers Union Local 45 .
His survivors include his wife Charlotte Williams; one daughter, Debra Johnson (Timothy), two sons, Chris Rosser (Jenni) and Bruce Williams (Linda); along with several children that he raised as his own; four grandchildren, Alyssa Chaffin, Andrew Lauterbach, Meredith Rosser and Jeannette Mortimer; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Williams (Shirley) and Cecil Williams (Sandra); three sisters, Patsy Rudd (Woody), Gail Bryant (Sonny) and Gloria McCullum; several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, with the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
