Geroge Cooke

George William Cooke, 77, of Cave City, died peacefully on Thursday, May 16, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.  George was born in Bowling Green to the late Everett Cooke and Arizona Tarter Cooke.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Evelyn Beckner.  George was a painter by trade and worked for Richard Smith Painting.  He was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church and attended Cave City Christian Church.

He is survived by one son, G. W. Cooke (Jennifer); three grandchildren, Haley Cooke, Dawson Cooke and Levi Cooke.  He has one niece, Esnoe Meimas;  one great niece and one great nephew.

Visitation will be held at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, on Sunday between the hours of 2-8 p.m.and Monday from 9-11 a.m. .   Services for George will be on Monday, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
