Estell D. Watt, age 83 of Bowling Green departed this life on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on June 10, 1939, to the late Willis and Wilodean Watt. He was married to his wife, Linda Flora Watt, for 63 years who survives. He is preceded in death by four brothers, Kenny Watt, Billy Ray Watt, Stephen Watt and Larry Watt; two sisters Carolyn Hawks and Diane Hurt
Estell worked at Holley Carburetor for 47 ½ years and he was also a farmer. He enjoyed watching the KY Wildcats play basketball. He also played softball in his younger years, and watched his kids & granddaughter play softball.
Besides his wife, he leaves to honor him, his son, Darrell Watt (Melissa) of Bowling Green; two daughters, Arlene McGuffin (Donnie) of Bowling Green and Darlene Watt of Bowling Green and one granddaughter, Trina Watt—his pride and joy. He is also survived by two brothers, Donnie Watt (Dorothy) of Bowling Green and Harold Watt (Patricia) of Bowling Green; brother-in-law, Floyd Hawks; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Watt and Hazel Watt and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Bowling Green Chapel of Hardy & Son Funeral Homes. Visitation will continue Saturday, from 11:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 in the chapel. Burial will take place at Boiling Springs Church of Christ Cemetery.
