Danny Lee Robison, 80, of Bowling Green, KY, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones at home on September 15, 2023. Danny was born on August 8, 1943 in Flora, IN to the late Gail A. Robison and Cordella J. (Harris) Scott. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Jane Scott Hudson, Betty Scott Shefferly, Connie Scott Guyse, and Gayla Robison Chapel. Danny grew up in Burlington, IN before moving to South Bend, IN where he graduated from Greene Township HS in 1961. He joined the United States Navy after graduation from high school, and proudly served 21 years. During his time in the Navy, some of Danny's duties included serving in Vietnam, working as an electrician at the White House, a Recruiter in Alabama and Indiana, Security in Sicily, and serving many duty stations aboard ships and aircraft carriers. Danny married Janet Sue Elkin on April 23, 1966 in Kingsford Heights, IN. He and his family moved to Walkerton, IN upon his retirement from the Navy. He worked at Kabelin's Hardware in Walkerton while attending Indiana University at South Bend (IUSB) where he received degrees in Business Management and Accounting. Upon graduation from IUSB in 1990, he started working for Concord Cleaners in Mishawaka, IN. Danny transferred to Nashville, TN in 1994 while working for Concord. In 1996, he moved to Bowling Green, KY and worked as the Manager of Big B Cleaners at Fairview Plaza until he retired in 2008. Danny is survived by his wife, Janet S. Elkin Robison, and their two children, David W. Robison and Brenda K Robison Canup of Bowling Green, KY. He is also survived by his siblings James "Jim" T. Scott of North Pole, AK, Grace J. Scott Keel of Ocala, FL, Jay B Scott of Tacoma, WA, and Jerry W. Scott of Ocala, FL. he is survived by his grandchildren, Amanda Hahn-Robison of Michigan City, IN, Brittany Fickes Lisoski of Michigan City, IN, Joshua Robison of Battle Creek, MI, and Collin Canup of Bowling Green, KY; three great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with visitation from 2-3 p.m.. Internment will be completed at a later date in Indiana.
