Clara W Reiter

Clara Woodward Reiter, 90 of Bowling Green passed peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Memory Care Unit at Magnolia Village.

Clara was born to Franklin and Nellie Atchley on May 26, 1934 in Girkin, KY. She was the wife of the late Glenn S. Reiter and was preceded in death by one son, Barry L. Woodward, Sr.; one brother, Horace Atchley; three sisters, Louise Pennington, Anna Myrle Wilson and Virgie Grimes. Clara was retired from Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and a long-time member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church. 

She is survived by three daughters; Sharen Woodward, Karen Hendrick, both of Bowling Green and Amy Kitchen (Mark) of Smithville, TN; two grandsons, Barry L. Woodward, II and Tyler Hendrick (Tiffany), and two great grandchildren, MacKenzie Hendrick of Lexington, KY and Brayden Hendrick of Bowling Green, KY.

 The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Memory Care Unite team at Magnolia Village for their many years of dedicated and caring service.

There will be a graveside service held at a later date at Plum Springs Cemetery. Funeral arrangements we entrusted to Hardy & Son Funeral Home Bowling Green Chapel.
