Charles William Wilson, 86 of Bowling Green died Monday, October 2, 2023 at Hopkins Center.

The Warren County native was a son of the late Darby Page Wilson and Maddie Halsell Wilson.  He is preceded in death by six sisters, Julie Meadows, Livereia LaRue, Sybil Murray, Maddie Patterson, Veatrice Louise Amos and Clyde Wilson; four brothers, Henry Wilson, Frank Wilson, Ezell Wilson and Ben Wilson.  Charles was employed at Riley's Bakery as a baker for many years. He was a member of State Street Baptist Church where he sang in the Brotherhood.

His survivors include his sister, Alma Martin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Thursday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial at Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday 9 a.m.- 12 noon at the funeral home.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to State Street Baptist Church, 340 State St., Bowling Green, KY  42101
