Bobby Lee Stubblefield, 91, a devoted husband, father, papaw, and friend went to be with the Lord January 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of Love, service, and kindness.
Bobby served his country from 1954-1956 in the Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. He dedicated much of his life to his faith, serving as a deacon at Martinsville Baptist Church and as a song leader. He was part of the Martinsville Lights music group that got to sing about Jesus to so many.
His kindness and unwavering commitment to his family and friends was his joy. Bobby worked for Detrex Chemical for 38 years, where he retired to enjoy life on the farm with his animals and his beloved dog, Panda.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Jessie Stubblefield , his son-in-law, Rick Fow and three brothers, Roger, Wayne and Joe Stubblefield.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Arnetta Stubblefield, his daughter Diane Stubblefield Fow , his grandsons Richard Eric Fow (Joy), and Nicholas Alan Fow (Amanda), and his cherished great grandchildren, Nixon, Carolina, Blakely, and Maverick.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 2-8pm at Hardy and Son Funeral Home 3098 Louisville Road, Bowling Green Kentucky. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the funeral home with burial following at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.
In Lieu of flowers the Stubblefield family kindly requests donations be made in Bobby’s memory to Martinsville Baptist Church. Bobby’s life was a testament to love and faith. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
