Andrew (Andy) Baxter Sawyer

Andrew Baxter Sawyer, 77, passed peacefully on September 15, 2024, at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born to the proud parents, Charles A. Davis, Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Kremer, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Dennis and George Sawyer.

Andy was a proud member of Oakland Baptist Church. He played football in high school and loved to do woodworking and watch sports in his later years. He enjoyed his career with General Motors where he served as a Plant Manager. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Rebecca Sawyer; two sons, David Sawyer (Lori) and Michael Sawyer (Alexis); and a daughter, Kristine Palmer (Christopher). His legacy continues with grandchildren, Logan Palmer, Ella Palmer, Lexi Sawyer and Jackson Sawyer. His memory will also be cherished by a sister, Beth Sawyer. 

It was the wish of Andy to be cremated. No service is scheduled at this time. Hardy & Son Funeral Homes is honored to assist with Andy’s arrangements.
