Alice Dean Jones

Alice Dean Jones, 84 died Monday, March 31, 2025 at Cardinal Landing.

The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Renick and Lela Neagle Lawrence and wife of the late Ray G. Jones. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Roland Lawrence and her baby son, David Jones. Dean was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. She attended North Warren High School and Western Kentucky University where she also worked and retired after 35 years. She was an avid animal lover especially dogs. She had three Yorkies and two St. Bernards that she loved. She was in Beta Sigma Phi for many years and loved her Sorority sisters. She played Bunco with the same group for over 30years and loved those friends. She loved her church and the friends she had there.

Leaving to cherish her sweet memory is her daughter, Lisa Houchin (Donald) and son, Greg Jones (Tammy); five grandchildren, Ali Sharpe (Tyler), Spencer Smith (Amanda), Brittany Mayes (Craig), Collin Smith (Kaitlyn) and Clint Jones; five great grandchildren, Kinsley White, Blakely White, Grey Sharpe, Finn Smith, Nolan Smith; one sister, Carole Harrison; along with several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2-8 p.m. and Monday 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the Staff at Cardinal Landing Memory Care for their kindness and love to Mom, they made her last year comfortable and happy.
