Acacia Rose Martinez, of Bowling Green, KY, died peacefully Tuesday, January 21, 2025. She was born on Halloween (2006) in Grand Junction, CO. She was a student at Bowling Green High School and a friend of Bill’s. She is survived by her beloved mother, Erin Redifer (Chuggie Hudson); four sisters, Georgia, Matilda, Dd, and Lola; her Oma and Ompa (Tia Gray and Dean Stecher); her Pappy and Grammy (John Redifer and Lisa Friel); Auntie Rhi Rhi (Rhiannon) Friel and Honorable Aunt Holly Osterman; Uncle Justin (Jenni) Redifer; and many, many family and friends that loved her deeply here in Bowling Green, but especially back home in Colorado.
Acacia was fiercely loyal to and protective of her mom and sisters- they were her world. She loved being outside, especially at the creek, spending time with friends and family, and deeply loved her dog, Neeko. She was a bright, shining light and loved making people laugh. She always told the truth, regardless of consequences, but her truth always came from a place of love. She loved big and with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone else that knew and loved her.
Acacia’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Visitation starting at 1 pm with services following at 2 pm. Family and friends are encouraged to join us to share a story or fond memory of Acacia, and celebrate the person that she was.
She will be set free at a later date in the mountains of Colorado.
